It's been ages since i've borrowed a book from the library
now,i'm borrowing one called "Monkey Brain Sushi",a collection of Japanese short stories from different authors
just like Carrie Bradshaw,i just love the smell of old books

It also feels like ages since i posted something here
nothing much to update
i seriously want to lose weight this time
and i should be starting doing something for my final year project
let's see,i feel somehow nauseated in my current blog,maybe that's the reason why i haven't been blogging as much as before
but i still do blogwalking twice as much as before
maybe i should make a new blog,for a fresh start

or maybe not

or maybe i'll wait until i become a little bit famous,then make a new blog

whichever way sounds ridiculously funny right now

oh yeah,i've been so into Japan lately
maybe because all those Gaki No Tsukai series my little brother gave me
or the fact that he'll be going there doing homestay in less than 2 weeks from now (damn you kid,i totally die of jealousy)
or it is because anything and anyone there looks a lot more artistic in photos than anything and anyone in any other nation could do
i really wish i could save enough money so next year after i finish college i'll be rewarding myself with a trip to the rising sun land

my bestfriend from elementary school will come visit in about 2 weeks,and my other bestfriend will come visit also at the end of May
oh and counting down to Bangkok trip at August for midterm break
isn't that just pure awesome?

it's been a while,and i just dropping by just to prove i am not a lazy ass person to write on my own blog.

Spectacular things happened in such a short time and nearly gave me a heart attack

1. Final exams
Tick tock tick tock
4 more days to the first day of exam
yet,nothing in my brain

2. Final Year Project
i'll be doing doing FYP at November and apparently i have to choose the title,the supervisor lecturer and other stuff from now,while i am still in disbelief daze that i already in final year of college

3.There is something happened this morning at my house that i chose not to talk about
I've got goose bump and unexplainable headache every time i remember it
I am just really really thanking God that all of us is fine

That's way too many stress in just one post and i think everyone agree i need a sleep,yes?

Poscards from far away

after i opened the pack of watercolor yesterday,surprisingly i can't get enough of them
i made two postcards for my friends,one named Tata,she's my junior high school best friend and currently live in Indonesia,and another one named Mutia,she's both my junior high school and high school friend currently live in South Korea
i made a portrait of them from their Facebook profile picture and the picture turn out -not surprisingly- sucked and did not look like them at all
sorry,i am baaaad for drawing real people
i'll post it on Tuesday,because tomorrow is my day off college

Quickie Express

just a quick update since now i'm home

1.My brother got a chicken pox and he's now staying at the hospital and we,all his sisters,are not allowed to see him by our parents since we all haven't got any chicken pox before and we are not immune

2.My mother is already immune,so she stayed at the hospital with my brother all the time,which means i haven't seen her since i landed last night

3.And she brings my Jakarta's cell number,so here i am,lost without cell phone

4.My cat is dead. Our cat is dead,people.
I can't believe no one told me earlier,i'm in deep grieve

5.The new SLR camera apparently is Nikon D40,i'm still new to DSLR and definitely need a tutorial

I'm having quiz this Tuesday and it's about new programming language called CLIPS in Expert System Class
it's not as hard as C++,but because i always dozed off on its tutorial classes (or googling for Indonesian TV-Star Gunawan,because one of my classmate looks like him and i want to take a close look between them two) i successfully am falling behind everybody else
so today i start over,learn from the beginning of tutorial 1,reading every line from the textbook
or so the plan
i just had lunch about 2 hours ago and now i already craving something to chew

Older Lover Undercover

Life's been such a roller coaster lately
after an amazing weekend night and great concert,Cinderella had to wake up to the reality that she is still a maid
not that i'm a Cinderella or anything (also there was no such thing as concert in her era,considering the fact that the only music was only from her singing along with a bunch of birds and mice),it's just an analogy
but despite being a maid,i woke up facing assignments and midterms exams,or in other word,the real world
but i've started swimming again,and this time,in the morning
and it feels nice
also the fact that i'm waiting for one bag and two clothes to arrive is nice also :)
online shopping is such a money-robbing whore and i wonder why we addicted to it lately
midterm break holiday that will be coming in 10 days is nice also
my little brother gave an offline message on msn yesterday,giving me a link to an online comic,which is a nice story
and there is a conversation between a wife and her photographer husband like this :

Wife : why are you so set on using film ? you can't retake shots on film
Husband : Hmm ? One of the joy of taking pictures is not knowing exactly what kind of photography you're taking
but then you put it in some developing solution and gradually you'll be able to see the pictures
Of course you'll make mistakes too but sometimes you come across something good

home alone

it's Friday (almost) night and i'm home alone
both of my housemates went out of town and here i am,bored,with a lot of assignments to do,due next week
well,i figure myself will be sitting in the dining room in front of my laptop writing nonsense about Software Engineering tomorrow all afternoon
but that's tomorrow,tonight i plan on relaxing
but,chatting with my bestfriend who keep complaining about his assignment being insulted by his lecturer and how annoying his girlfriend is not quite relaxing enough for me so i explore what is inside my hard disk,hoping to find something worth watching

but unfortunately,i watched almost all of them
i said almost,because there is Gossip Girl Season 2 that was accidentally copied when i borrowed my friend's hard disk to copy some movies
i do not watch Gossip Girl,and i really can't tell the reason,but i just don't
but boredom creeps me out so i watched them,yeah straight to season 2,with no knowledge at all of what happened in season 1
yeah,i think it was okay,a lot going on,many conflicts,but personally Chuck and Blair is the only reason i bear to watch
meanwhile,i am missing Marshall and Vinnie Chase so much,please the new season come,please please
i also am missing the times from about 2 years ago,when we rule Multiply (when it still can download songs of course),when going out means two or three cars full with a bunch of us,and when we played Facebook way way before it becomes a hit,our friends were below 100,and we were always bombing away on Pirates games

Dream's Diner

what a busy hell of a week
morning class every single day,going home after it's almost dark,exhausted
watch a little bit of Entourage or anything else worth watching and then start worrying about projects
yeah,like the subject itself is not difficult enough,all of my lecturers gave us assignments and projects
geez
okay enough about the whining up

last night i had a very fun chat with my very good friend from high school
and i don't know how it started but we plan to make a restaurant in the future
Diner like,baby,just like vintage Americans do
i am so damn bored with all the cafes or restaurant that giving away their atmosphere for unstable teenagers that dressed way too old for them just to have a cup of coffee,free wi-fi connection,and the cute guy's number next table
no,i want some real diner with casual atmosphere, a counter, and late operating hours
a place where some random people will randomly think "Hey I'll go to Donkey's Diner to grab some breakfast,wanna come along?" and just take their car key and roll along
no need some fancy smancy saturday night clothing,it is a cozy place for you to eat and read your paper
and then he ordered some real nice homemade food,be served by some nice friendly waiter,and after a couple of times going to our diner,started to get to know other loyal customer,say hi to each other, and have his food served for him before he even ordered,because the waiter is already know what he is going to order

damn what a wish
but we talked pretty serious though,we already decided about the place and the menu
too bad we have zero money LOL
that Donkey's name is not serious also,we kind of bad on choosing name
any suggestion ?
gonna get you free waffles if your suggestion is chosen !

uh by the way,i watched "Yes Man" like what,two months ago and when i saw that movie,there was a scene where Zooey wore a blue coat with red trim and i suddenly though "Oh gosh,i want that coat,like rite now!"
and now,here i am,still not over this coat,desperately looking for a decent picture of it
i search it on Yes Man imdb pictures,trailer,but it seems like that scene with the gorgeous coat is not so important to get into the trailer
so,tonight I google "Zooey Yes Man blue red coat" and i'm quite surprised that this coat has a lot of fans too,it has been talked on some forums and they still haven't figured it out who design that coat
that Zooey girl is sure something,eh?

since Valentine's day fell at this very Saturday,imagine the traffic
but anyway,i had a great weekend going to the movie,karaoke and ausi's private birthday dinner these past two days
but Monday always come
actually i don't have class at monday so i thought i will be just at home,rest,prepare for the next weekdays classes ahead
but no,alas,i went to college building to interview some important people at some important faculty about my super important project
yeah,we've been given a big project at Software Engineering class,so big that for group who do the best,their project will be used for this campus
and if my team's project is chosen to be used,i think i have to do a deal
they have to pay us
pay us numbers big enough to afford my getaway to Europe,or America,or just simply Tokyo,my tuition fee until i graduate,and my future three kids into a well-known private school

Pfft.dream

i am not ready to face the class again after a great weekend
but i guess i have to do it anyway

1.15 am

ah damn i am hungry
i should've stop skipping dinner,but really i didn't do it on purpose
just like any other day,i managed to get lunch at 5-6 pm every day,then i thought i won't be hungry again for dinner,and get to bed early
or so the plan
the real thing is i stuck in front of the laptop watching some random movies until it past midnight and my plan to sleep early was blown away to the next stratosphere
and i am hungry
i am too lazy to cook rice,and i can't eat instant noodles since i had one for lunch today,but honestly,isn't it too late to eat something heavy like that?
apples or oranges can't solve this problem,and i don't have any bread
and my jar of cookies is empty
argh what do i do?
i wish i had some of these,with tartar sauce

maybe i'll just take a shower and sleep

Oh how fun a childhood is

it's Friday afternoon and my period stomachache is killing me like crazy so i can't get out of bed,nor home
it's kinda okay since i love tv and internet very much
there's a new reality show series on Discovery which i love to watch,called Jon & Kate Plus 8
there's this parent,Jon and Kate,which has a 6 years old twin,and 2 years old sixtuplets
their names are Cara,Madelyn,Aaden,Joel,Collin,Hannah,Alexis,and Leah (i remember their names! fuck i'm addicted!)
it's fun watching how cute they are and how stressed their parents are because they're all like talking and laughing and screaming and crying at the same time
it's like watching Cheaper by the Dozen,but it's real,and they are all babies,apart from the twins
they showed at 10 am back to back in Discovery T&L,and then at 11.30 pm and 3 pm at Discover H&H,all different episode,so it means i watched 4 every day
and then,5 pm Slam Dunk,as usual
college is starting soon and i'm really not ready to accept that fact

Banana Split Blizzards

i spent the entire afternoon catching up with my high school bestie at lunch and after-lunch dairy queen
we share a lot of stories,laugh,cup of ice cream,and baked potatoes until we don't know what to do anymore
holiday is so far so good,i'm having a mother-daughters event some day on the weekend
more best friends will be coming home to Jakarta next weekend and i can't wait yay
i read some of my college friends' blog and i notice they are kinda hate this holiday
which is confusing because i love it
i love home,i love all the family and friends back here,i love the cable tv,i even kinda love the weather right now
oh gosh,i haven't had the time to make postcards
i think i'll do it tomorrow since i have no plan
and i know you'll read this : MU! your card haven't arrived and i keep waiting,ugh it's so uncool
i keep imagining that this card drop from the postman bag and fly away in the wind,and end up in the wet Jakarta street,soaked in the rain

Yes Lady !

inspired by this cool awesome lady who make a doodle of every single thing she purchased that day,i decided to make these kind of thing also
since i do not own a scanner,it is impossible for me to draw in the notebook and scan it later like she does,so i do not have much choice ; i draw it right in my computer
and it sucks you know
there are A LOT of things your hands can do while a mouse can not

anyway,in my second day of holiday i purchased two oversized blouse at Citos bazaar while waiting for a friend to pick me up
I watched Jim Carrey's "Yes Man" and ohmygod that movie rocks !

i laugh and laugh and laugh a lot,i heart Zooey Deschanel in that movie

i was reading lecture notes this afternoon and the next thing i know i fell asleep unconsciously,damn it
when i started to study seriously tonight,my housemate kept bugging me to accompany him to buy some snacks at the convenience store
so yeah,at midnight,we both walked in the cold wind weather to the nearest store
and here i am,writing blog after purchasing mini potato chips,chewing gum,and a cup of watermelon
i am saving the chips for tomorrow because i'm sure it will go right down to my waistline if i eat them right now
for now,i think the watermelon is a safe bet
you know,i suddenly have an urgent wish : i wish i have a college life in Singapore
it'll be waaaaaaaay cooler

Movies on the Weekend

I watched the booming movie,Twilight on friday night and my review are :
1.The main actor is extremely (dangerously) hot,yes now i know why the girls screaming for him
2.The cinema's caramel popcorn is the best dude,nothing compared to it,not even close
That's it
No compliment for the storyline though
When I first read the synopsis from the novel i thought it will be much more deep dark myth stories about vampire history,and their war with another vampire clan
but,when i watched it,it's a complete love story
yes,just like another teen movies

so,in the other night,i tried to watch a real good movie
I watched Paris Je t'aime. It got nominated in several awards so i thought to gave it a shot


I want to watch it mainly because of Natalie Portman on it
but,holy shit,she only appeared for just like,3 minutes !
The story is about many,many,different kinds of love stories that took place in Paris
Kinda like Love Actually movie,but with sooooo many more people in it
there's a love a story between a guy and a moslem lady (yes i feel a little joy seeing a mosque in Paris),and Natalie Portman and her blind boyfriend,Elijah Wood and his vampire girlfriend (yes yes vampire!),a father and a daughter,a two complete strangers,a couple of funny mimes (they're my favorite couple),a cheating husband that fell in love back again with his dying wife,and many more
But i don't really watch the ending because i,ehm,hard to say,fell asleep
so yeah,go figure out how the movie was

And then tonight,at 2 am i watch an Indonesian movie, Cinta Silver
i did it just for fun,knowing that Christian Sugiono played on it
but guess what ? it ended up becoming my favorite movie of the week

because of Christian's quote that i adore so so much (It is not really a quote,it is just a normal conversation but i think it's so beautiful that i categorized it as quote)

weekend oh

weekend finally arrived and i am happy as hell
just not waking up early is enough to make my day brighter
i try to be a good kid so i didn't skip breakfast
chocolate milk (again) and ChipsMore may do the tricks

tonight we plan to the movies
but before that i made a promise with some friends to go swimming
hope it won't be raining later on
so,in this post i will be talking about swimsuit
i really want to buy a new one since my old one is too small right now
sooo i search over the internet and found a nice swimsuit
it is (dare i say) vintage swimsuit
my reasons to choose it ? well :

1. all vintage swimsuits are one piece,the kind i like
2. haven't i told you i adore anything vintage ?

november rain

i am aware that i said i quite enjoyed the rainy season in my last post
but today i kinda hate rain
okay,they suck

because of the rain,the basketball practical class is canceled again for two weeks in a row
i feel rather disappointed because i already wish to play basketball so bad
do more sport is one point in my new semester resolution (is there such a thing?)
so instead,me and some friend was making plan to go night swimming later on
the rain usually stop after 7 pm,so it will be nice to have a plunge later
but somehow,the rain was getting heavier
and it is soooo fucking freezing
my socks and shoes are wet
i'm cold
it sucks

anyhow,my vintage brown leather bag is arrived (well,i picked it up in the post office this afternoon with ausi) and i love it
this weekend may be its debut to come to the outside world as my belonging
ha !
but i don't think it will be quite a fun fun weekend,since i'll have midterm exam (already) someday next week

this posting is so damn lame,but i feel like journaling my daily life
i really wish to post a photo in this post but have nothing.zero.zilch.
this is one of the reason why i want a digicam
so dear God,could you please make my father accidentally read this blog (and understand English also) so he will buy me one as a late birthday gift?
i am too lazy to make a meal,so i'm having chocolate milk and oreo wafer rolls for my dinner
tonight i feel so cold so i went to bed wearing my long legging,oversized sweater,a pair of pink socks,and of course,thick blanket
