I left my heart there

I just come home from 5 days trip from Bangkok and I haven't get over it at all
I just fell in love

We stayed at a little inn there
They serve breakfast awfully early
They combine pancake and pineapples which was weird
Their hot water bath was extremely hot and can not be any warmer
They have no elevator so we have to climb the stairs to the 3rd floor every now and then
HBO and Star World were the only watchable channel on the TV
They have that weird mosquito net all around the bed

I love everything about it :-)

P.S : I love my Lomo too

Blowing Kisses for the Hungers

i just found out tonight about this delightful non-profit organization called Free Rice
They give you sets of questions with multiple choice answers
you play it,and every time your answer is correct you donate 10 grains of rice through UN to fight hunger
10 grains may seems not that much, but with a thousand more people playing at the same time with you,it can total up for quite a number
at first i don't really believe that we can donate rice that easily,so i read through the FAQ
they are pretty impressive, since they began at 2007 until today they already donated 66,266,553,170 grains of rice

The questions come in many various subjects like English vocab and grammar,Chemistry, Math, Foreign Languange like French,German, and so many more
Each subjects have hundreds of questions divided into 70 levels based on its difficulty,so i guess you'll never run out of questions

Stop drowning in Facebook or Youtube for a while and play it for maybe 5-10 questions, that'll change a lot
Let's do something beautiful together today, shall we?

"I took the wrong turn and ended up in Michigan"

It's been ages since i've borrowed a book from the library
now,i'm borrowing one called "Monkey Brain Sushi",a collection of Japanese short stories from different authors
just like Carrie Bradshaw,i just love the smell of old books

It also feels like ages since i posted something here
nothing much to update
i seriously want to lose weight this time
and i should be starting doing something for my final year project
let's see,i feel somehow nauseated in my current blog, maybe that's the reason why i haven't been blogging as much as before
but i still do blogwalking twice as much as before
maybe i should make a new blog, for a fresh start

or maybe not

or maybe i'll wait until i become a little bit famous, then make a new blog

whichever way sounds ridiculously funny right now

oh yeah,i've been so into Japan lately
maybe because all those Gaki No Tsukai series my little brother gave me
or the fact that he'll be going there doing homestay in less than 2 weeks from now (damn you kid,i totally die of jealousy)
or it is because anything and anyone there looks a lot more artistic in photos than anything and anyone in any other nation could do
i really wish i could save enough money so next year after i finish college i'll be rewarding myself with a trip to the rising sun land

my bestfriend from elementary school will come visit in about 2 weeks, and my other bestfriend will come visit also at the end of May
oh and counting down to Bangkok trip at August for midterm break
isn't that just pure awesome?

Before science exists, it is possible for the Moon to be made of white cheese

I never consider myself a nerd, or a geek
simply because i never enjoy studying in whatever form
but sometimes i just found myself drowning in some weird topic for quite a long time
like this afternoon, i read all the articles i could found in Google about "Ida" fossil, the famous missing link that connect human with any other mammals in evolution chain (All hail Darwin), on the internet for about 30 minutes in the middle of my study for tomorrow exam
i found it interesting and amusing and it really distract me from studying
i guess i'm gonna browsing about it more tonight
(It's huge, guys! Google even make its logo looks like the fossil at May 20th and People Magazine considers it to be on its cover, making it the first non alive creature to be on the cover!
It will be on the school text books for the next 100 years!
I'm over excited,i think i need help,no ?!)

or when people said "It's possible, you can do it"
my inner brain automatically thing how ironic that is because most people don't know that Possibility is 3 times nearer to the Impossible rather than to Certainty, based on Degree of Belief in Expert System
see ? See?
i blabber about weird topic
i guess sometimes i'm a little nerd

Two more final exams and i'll be coming home at Saturday
Just a short holiday, only for 2 weeks, and most of the times i'll be doing short course in PHP languange for the preparation of my final year project
damn i'm old

I've got goose bump and unexplainable headache every time i remember it
I am just really really thanking God that all of us is fine

Poscards from far away

after i opened the pack of watercolor yesterday, surprisingly i can't get enough of them
i made two postcards for my friends, one named Tata, she's my junior high school best friend and currently live in Indonesia, and another one named Mutia, she's both my junior high school and high school friend currently live in South Korea
i made a portrait of them from their Facebook profile picture and the picture turn out -not surprisingly- sucked and did not look like them at all
sorry,i am baaaad for drawing real people
i'll post it on Tuesday, because tomorrow is my day off college

anybody want one too?

Mu,Ta,i hope you like it,and if you don't,please don't throw it away
just put it in the deepest corner of your drawer should be fine :)

oh,also i plan to make one for my baby sister for her birthday at April 23th

i am imagining God says this to me,"Ehm,girl,do you know what else you could make with your own hand and due at April 23th too? YOUR HUMAN COMPUTER INTERACTION ASSIGNMENT! so stop fooling around making painting and get your lazy-ass in front of your laptop and start making that report!"
although i know that God is gentle and kind so He won't said anything cruel like that, but yeah,He has a point
i am such a lazy-ass
