Life's been such a roller coaster lately
after an amazing weekend night and great concert,Cinderella had to wake up to the reality that she is still a maid
not that i'm a Cinderella or anything (also there was no such thing as concert in her era,considering the fact that the only music was only from her singing along with a bunch of birds and mice),it's just an analogy
but despite being a maid,i woke up facing assignments and midterms exams,or in other word,the real world
but i've started swimming again,and this time,in the morning
and it feels nice
also the fact that i'm waiting for one bag and two clothes to arrive is nice also :)
online shopping is such a money-robbing whore and i wonder why we addicted to it lately
midterm break holiday that will be coming in 10 days is nice also
my little brother gave an offline message on msn yesterday,giving me a link to an online comic,which is a nice story
and there is a conversation between a wife and her photographer husband like this :

Wife : why are you so set on using film ? you can't retake shots on film
Husband : Hmm ? One of the joy of taking pictures is not knowing exactly what kind of photography you're taking
but then you put it in some developing solution and gradually you'll be able to see the pictures
Of course you'll make mistakes too but sometimes you come across something good
something better that you expected

aah,so nice knowing i have one other reason to keep loving films
but the Wednesday's exam is not so nice actually
guess what,too many nice things without even a single suck-ness is a plain boring,yes? *giggle

I LOVE YOU TO BITS

before i start this post,let's make it clear : i am not a fangirl type
i don't scream over a hot celebrity,i never make a collection of any photos or posters,even right-click-save-image-as of any guy,i don't even love the sensationally hot Edward Cullen
in short,i have the right amount of love when i am a fan of someone

but this one is different
i've been waiting for him over years,feel like forever
every word that he sang and every little moves he made created a huge heartbeat for me
Jason Mraz is-hands down-the most inspiring man that i've ever known,and yes,i love him to bits

this video of last night concert is by far the closest to him on Youtube(don't ask how many videos i've watched,you'll get hurt) and i'm quite impressed of how not-really-shaky this video is,considering she (or he) was that close to Jason Mraz,if that were me,i'll be dead in maybe after half the song
just watch it,please,that video is quite short but i really really adore the way he dances
just wait a couple more days,maybe a lot of people will upload better videos of the concert,i hope

i've never been to a lot of concert before
last time i went to concert was Maroon 5 in Singapore
from that moment i walked out Singapore Indoor Stadium,back home,during classes,over chatting on MSN,up until today,i can still blabbering with excitement how hot Adam Levine is without bored
but when Jason Mraz took his last bow and disappeared,i felt something weird and new, a lot different from after Maroon 5 concert
i feel deeply sad,and up until now,i prefer to not talking about how that concert was because i'll feel incredibly mellow when i realized my years of waiting vanished on one and a half hours concert
during that concert i felt hypnotized and yes,lots of screaming,singing,and dancing
but the moment he played that particular favorite song of mine,i just sat there,gasping quietly,not screaming,not even singing
i lied to my friends beside me that my throat was hurt so i couldn't scream anymore,buy really,i was trying hard to stop tears from falling
yes yes,i was about to cry,damn you,Jason

Ecca and I bought the original (please note,original,guys) T-shirts of him and please don't ask how much it cost
in short,with that amount of money,you can buy Zara or Topshop clothes,but please,we two are the biggest fan of him so yeah,we spent money on that T-shirt
maybe later i could post a photo of it

by the way,out of topic,i just want to tell you that i've been doing a very serious group task on Software Engineering subject
my group leader already assigned me some tasks and i was doing all of them just fine,except the one called Quality Assurance Plan
i googled it but the results were quite confusing,all different from another,and for days i've been moaning to everybody close to me of how hard the QAP is
tomorrow is submission day,and i could not moan any longer,so i decide to write anything that sound sensible for that QAP part,just using my own words
when i opened the project file i am shocked,really shocked
i've done the QAP
and i forgot when i did it,but it happened
so when i moaned to people of my assignment,i actually already finished it
when i desperately googled it,opened gazillion tabs on Firefox searching for answers for hours,i actually already done it
confusing,eh?
i wonder why my brain skip so much

somehow,i made peace,i'm coming home for midterm break
Jason Mraz concert for tomorrow,and getting home for March 20
and i don't feel even a tiny bit of excitement
oh,how dear all five assignments,i curse you

it's getting cold each day since it's always raining cats and dogs
while cold weather means sleeping's getting more comfortable,i hate the fact that i turn to skip class when i couldn't get myself out of bed

home alone

it's Friday (almost) night and i'm home alone
both of my housemates went out of town and here i am,bored,with a lot of assignments to do,due next week
well,i figure myself will be sitting in the dining room in front of my laptop writing nonsense about Software Engineering tomorrow all afternoon
but that's tomorrow,tonight i plan on relaxing
but,chatting with my bestfriend who keep complaining about his assignment being insulted by his lecturer and how annoying his girlfriend is not quite relaxing enough for me so i explore what is inside my hard disk,hoping to find something worth watching

but unfortunately,i watched almost all of them
i said almost,because there is Gossip Girl Season 2 that was accidentally copied when i borrowed my friend's hard disk to copy some movies
i do not watch Gossip Girl,and i really can't tell the reason,but i just don't
but boredom creeps me out so i watched them,yeah straight to season 2,with no knowledge at all of what happened in season 1
yeah,i think it was okay,a lot going on,many conflicts,but personally Chuck and Blair is the only reason i bear to watch
meanwhile,i am missing Marshall and Vinnie Chase so much,please the new season come,please please
i also am missing the times from about 2 years ago,when we rule Multiply (when it still can download songs of course),when going out means two or three cars full with a bunch of us,and when we played Facebook way way before it becomes a hit,our friends were below 100,and we were always bombing away on Pirates games

it's 6:22 pm here and it was raining and misting all afternoon
which is quite nice actually
Weekend is nice,as always,going out with closest friends,but i think anything i do at weekend will always be nice considering the weekdays i have been through
i am finishing Entourage season 5 last night,and feel quite sad to say goodbye to the heartthrob Vinnie Chase,or is there a season 6,anyone know?
I have been planning to study AI today since i'll have quiz tomorrow but look what i do now
the internet had been down this afternoon,and it was clearly a sign to study my lecture notes,but no,i chose Wedding Dash
and now,the sun is getting ready to set,and i haven't study a single sentence
damn

i have been browsing scholarship to Europe,but none of it quite applicable
ha ha,i hate how obvious i hate my major,but yes,please get me out of here
you may call me crazy,but i actually already imagine how my apartment will be look like,who are my flatmates,what coat i'll be wearing for work,which restaurant i'll be crashing into for dinner,what cookies i will be learn to bake from my up-floor neighbor girl,and oh my god,even now i call myself crazy
i hope to graduate next year and i am crossing finger of what i'll be doing afterward
Ahh shoot,i forgot i have Cisco course at 8 pm today
i think i'll take a shower now
excuse me for this moody post,but in my defense :this is my first day of period
i am missing everybody and would love to come home for midterm break,but look at that tons of project,they won't allow me to go anywhere
i hate it when i have no picture to put into a post,but i am running out of pictures because i still don't have any digicam
(Dad,seriously,read how desperate i am)

P.S : I just found out that Slumdog Millionaire won EIGHT of that golden little man,including best picture ! I can't believe that,well it's no surprise,that movie is brilliant

P.S.S : The quiz i mentioned before,will cover the first 3 chapters of the subject. I've been studying chapter 1 for about 45 minutes,memorizing everything while thinking "It's funny how I don't remember all of these things being taught in class, i must be very distracted"
after i finish studying that chapter,i found out it was chapter 11 that i've been studying,not 1
...crap
Smart move,always a (heaps) step ahead!

Dream's Diner

what a busy hell of a week
morning class every single day,going home after it's almost dark,exhausted
watch a little bit of Entourage or anything else worth watching and then start worrying about projects
yeah,like the subject itself is not difficult enough,all of my lecturers gave us assignments and projects
geez
okay enough about the whining up

last night i had a very fun chat with my very good friend from high school
and i don't know how it started but we plan to make a restaurant in the future
Diner like,baby,just like vintage Americans do
i am so damn bored with all the cafes or restaurant that giving away their atmosphere for unstable teenagers that dressed way too old for them just to have a cup of coffee,free wi-fi connection,and the cute guy's number next table
no,i want some real diner with casual atmosphere, a counter, and late operating hours
a place where some random people will randomly think "Hey I'll go to Donkey's Diner to grab some breakfast,wanna come along?" and just take their car key and roll along
no need some fancy smancy saturday night clothing,it is a cozy place for you to eat and read your paper
and then he ordered some real nice homemade food,be served by some nice friendly waiter,and after a couple of times going to our diner,started to get to know other loyal customer,say hi to each other, and have his food served for him before he even ordered,because the waiter is already know what he is going to order

damn what a wish
but we talked pretty serious though,we already decided about the place and the menu
too bad we have zero money LOL
that Donkey's name is not serious also,we kind of bad on choosing name
any suggestion ?

uh by the way,i watched "Yes Man" like what,two months ago and when i saw that movie,there was a scene where Zooey wore a blue coat with red trim and i suddenly though "Oh gosh,i want that coat,like rite now!"
and now,here i am,still not over this coat,desperately looking for a decent picture of it
i search it on Yes Man imdb pictures,trailer,but it seems like that scene with the gorgeous coat is not so important to get into the trailer
so,tonight I google "Zooey Yes Man blue red coat" and i'm quite surprised that this coat has a lot of fans too,it has been talked on some forums and they still haven't figured it out who design that coat
that Zooey girl is sure something,eh?

Going out = Worst Idea

since Valentine's day fell at this very Saturday,imagine the traffic
but anyway,i had a great weekend going to the movie,karaoke and ausi's private birthday dinner these past two days
but Monday always come
actually i don't have class at monday so i thought i will be just at home,rest,prepare for the next weekdays classes ahead
but no,alas,i went to college building to interview some important people at some important faculty about my super important project
yeah,we've been given a big project at Software Engineering class,so big that for group who do the best,their project will be used for this campus
and if my team's project is chosen to be used,i think i have to do a deal
they have to pay us
pay us numbers big enough to afford my getaway to Europe,or America,or just simply Tokyo,my tuition fee until i graduate,and my future three kids into a well-known private school

i am not ready to face the class again after a great weekend
but i guess i have to do it anyway
